Clear Out Your Shelves: We accept gently used kids' books, everything from picture books, middle readers, to young adult novels.
Host a Book Drive: Gather your school, workplace, or community group to collect the stories your kids have outgrown and pass them along.Partner With Us
Receive Books for Kids: If your organization serves youth, we want to share our supply with you. We deliver books directly to your program at zero cost.

Our Story
Second Turn Stories began as a grassroots community program in Los Angeles with a straightforward goal: keep books moving to ensure kids have easy access to reading what they want to read. We see every donated book as a shared resource that deserves a second turn to inspire a young reader.Current Impact
To date, we have redistributed nearly 400 books across 3 local community partner programs, putting great stories directly into the hands of young readers.
